Binnie Klein
Binnie Klein maintains a private psychotherapy practice in New Haven, CT, and is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University. Her memoir, “Blows to the Head: How Boxing Changed My Mind” (SUNY Press, January 2010) is available through Amazon, SUNY Press, and independent bookstores. The paperback edition comes out in the summer of 2020. She has a sweet Havanese dog named Halia, and a feisty Havanese-Terrier mix named Sebby. They are WPKN listeners.

Bridgeport radio DJ Binnie Klein recently added songwriting to her resume, co-writing and releasing a song with Australian musician Tartie.

The song, “Orchard,” released in the fall of 2021, is the debut single on Klein’s forthcoming indie project called “In These Trees.” It was produced by Grammy-winning artist David Baron, who has worked with The Lumineers and Lenny Kravitz. The song is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music, with an animated music video for “Orchard” streaming on YouTube.
