1) Philip Weiss, Senior Editor of Mondoweiss.net, an independent website devoted to informing readers about developments in Israel/Palestine and related US foreign policy, discusses US media coverage of Israel’s new governing coalition poised to oust Benjamin Netanyahu — and what if anything will change under a new Israeli government.

2) Steve Phillips is the host of “Democracy in Color with Steve Phillips,” a color-conscious podcast on politics, the founder of Democracy in Color and a regular opinion contributor to The New York Times and a columnist for The Nation magazine. The author of the New York Times bestselling book, “Brown Is the New White,” talks about his recent Nation article, “The Party of White Grievance Has Never Cared About Democracy.”

3) Alex Lawson, Executive Director of the group Social Security Works, the convening member of the Strengthening Social Security Coalition — a coalition made up of over 340 national and state organizations representing over 50 million Americans, assesses the Biden administration’s initiatives on protecting and expanding Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid — as well as the push to negotiate lower drug prices.

4) Sharon Kyle, co-editor of the social justice magazine LA Progressive, talks about the New Day Pacifica campaign, a group of Pacifica listeners and staff working to change the network’s bylaws, in order to “save Pacifica and keep it from crashing out of existence in the next year,” due to an ongoing and severe financial crisis. She’ll touch on many of the points made in her recent article, “Without a Robust Progressive Media Network…”
