1) Americans for Tax Fairness Executive Director Frank Clemente talks about the work his group is doing to support President Biden’s original blueprint for increasing taxes on the wealthiest Americans and profitable corporations in his ‘Build Back Better’ plan during this critical week of Congressional negotiations.

2) A representative of Greenpeace USA (TBA) will discuss the work they and other climate/environmental groups are doing to preserve important climate provisions, such as ending fossil fuel subsidies, in President Biden’s ‘Build Back Better’ reconciliation plan now being negotiated in Congress.

3) Edgar Villanueva, an activist and authority on social justice philanthropy, is the founder and principal of the Decolonizing Wealth Project and Liberated Capital. He’ll talk about the critical issues examined in his best-selling book, “Decolonizing Wealth: Indigenous Wisdom to Heal Divides and Restore Balance.”

4) Alphecca Muttardy, a macroeconomist who worked for the International Monetary Fund for 25 years, now Chair on Economic Policy with Our Revolution in Northern Virginia and an activist with the Coalition for the National Infrastructure Bank, discusses her group’s recent efforts to establish a fully funded, public, national infrastructure bank to pay for future national infrastructure projects.
