Zanj Radio with Maud & Bertho Joseph on alternating Friday’s, 9 AM to Noon, focuses on Haitian rooted, multi-lingual broadcasting in French, Créole, and English. The Zanj Radio segment is Haitian friendly community programming and broadcasting designed to increase cultural competency amongst the WPKN community that favors classics and contemporary hits.
Maud Joseph is honored with a Community Appreciation Award, for her community service with a special focus on her three WPKN radio programs. Presented April 2017, by The Haitian Voice, a Connecticut based English, Haitian Creole, and French newspaper & website. The Bridgeport City Council and City of Bridgeport Awards were presented in 2018.
