WPKN is hosting an online art auction, starting now and running through June 29.

“Artists love WPKN because we are a favorite companion in the studio, and they have gladly donated works for several art auctions ever since WPKN lost its University of Bridgeport funding in 1989,” said Valerie Richardson, the station general manager.
We received 83 works from 41 artists including paintings, ceramics, sculptures and more.
Several of the artists are WPKN programmers including Adrian Martinez (photographs), Cliff Furnald (photography), Al Bell (pottery), Hazel Kahan (“leafages,” collages of leaves and poetry), Martha Willette Lewis (print), Rod Richardson (abstract digital prints), Steve Di Costanzo (photography), and Valerie Richardson (paintings).
