Doors at 6 show at 7. Spoon are art-rockers hailing from Austin Texas, pairing with New Zealand indie rockers The Beths.

  • Jon Batiste Live at the Westville Music Bowl, New Haven CT – Thursday, August 13th 7PM

    WPKN is a media partner in Jon Batiste Live at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven Thursday August 13th, doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 7 PM.

    Batiste’s work spans jazz, classical, and contemporary music, including his recent release Beethoven Blues (Batiste Piano Series, Vol. 1), featuring reinterpretations of Beethoven’s compositions. His 2023 album World Music Radio explores global influences and collaborations across genres.

    Batiste is also known for his award-winning film score for Soul, his contributions to film and television, and his tenure as bandleader and musical director for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
