WPKN is a media partner for Art, Jazz + the Blues at MoCA\CT, a collaborative exhibition with Westport Public Art Collections exploring visual and musical forms deeply rooted in African American traditions. Running February 26th through June 7th. Featuring a screening of Gordon Parks’ 1976 film, Leadbelly, on February 28th, a Curators’ Talk with Anne Boberski and Ive Covaci on March 5th, and a live performance with jazz artist Etienne Charles on March 8th.

From 90s country classics like “Outbound Plane,” “Drive South,” and “Hey Cinderella” to Grammy-winning folk and Americana explorations, Suzy Bogguss continues to follow her own roots-driven path with timeless songwriting and unmistakable vocals.

WPKN is a media partner in the 12th annual Food Trucks on the River festival down at Veterans Memorial Park. This year’s event will feature 30+ food trucks, lots of live music, free mini golf, trivia & bingo, pop-up bar, and more!

WPKN is proud to be a media partner for Joan Osborne Sings The Songs Of Bob Dylan – live Saturday, June 6th 2026 in The Warehouse at 8PM. Following her acclaimed Songs of Bob Dylan album and the recent release of Dylanology Live, Joan Osborne brings her powerful voice and soulful reinterpretations of Dylan classics to the stage for a special evening celebrating one of America’s greatest songwriters.

WPKN is a media partner with Devon Allman’s Blues Summit in The Warehouse at Fairfield Theatre Company, happening Tuesday, June 16th. Featuring the electric blues and soul playing of the Devon Allman Project, Larry McCray, Laka Soul, and Jimmy Hall, with GA-20. 

WPKN is a media partner for the Spoon and the Beths 2026 tour, making a stop at New Haven’s College Street Music Hall, Sunday June 21st, in partnership with Manic Presents and Premier Concerts. Doors at 6 show at 7. Spoon are art-rockers hailing from Austin Texas, pairing with New Zealand indie rockers The Beths.

WPKN is a media partner in Jon Batiste Live at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven Thursday August 13th, doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 7 PM.

Batiste’s work spans jazz, classical, and contemporary music, including his recent release Beethoven Blues (Batiste Piano Series, Vol. 1), featuring reinterpretations of Beethoven’s compositions. His 2023 album World Music Radio explores global influences and collaborations across genres.

Batiste is also known for his award-winning film score for Soul, his contributions to film and television, and his tenure as bandleader and musical director for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
