Arts, Jazz + the Blues Exhibition – MoCA\CT, Westport, CT- Thursday, runs February 26 – June 7th
WPKN is a media partner for Art, Jazz + the Blues at MoCA\CT, a collaborative exhibition with Westport Public Art Collections exploring visual and musical forms deeply rooted in African American traditions. Running February 26th through June 7th. Featuring a screening of Gordon Parks’ 1976 film, Leadbelly, on February 28th, a Curators’ Talk with Anne Boberski and Ive Covaci on March 5th, and a live performance with jazz artist Etienne Charles on March 8th.

VersoFest’26 – A Celebration of Music, Media & Creativity – at The Westport Library Westport, CT- Starting February 27th through March 29th
WPKN is a media partner for Verso Studios at The Westport Library for VersoFest 2026. VersoFest starts Friday February 27th, with various events running through Sunday March 29th. Now in its fifth year, VersoFest is an annual festival celebrating music, media, and creativity. This year’s festival includes a conversation with folk-rocker Ani DiFranco, a concert performance by Wyclef Jean, a VersoFest book talk with actress/performer Gina Gershon, and more. 2026 concerts include The Thing on Friday February 27th, Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles on Friday March 6th, and headliner Wyclef Jean concludes the celebration on Friday March 27th.

Presented with the Humanities Institute and Italian Studies program, Gina is an author, editor, and educator who joins us for an evening of conversation brought to you by the Philip I. Eliasoph Open VISIONS Forum.

WPKN Presents Thievery Corporation in concert at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, on Tuesday, March 31st, with doors at 7pm and music at 8pm, in partnership with Premier Concerts and Manic Presents. Now on their North American tour, Thievery Corporation mixes international beats and vocals into their electronic music.

Andrew Bird with the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra at The Palace Theater, Waterbury CT – Thursday, April 2nd 8PM
WPKN is a media partner for Andrew Bird with the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, performing at Palace Theater in Waterbury on Thursday, April 2nd, in partnership with Manic Presents and Premier Concerts. Andrew Bird is a violinist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and will make his debut with the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra.

Diana Krall in concert at The Palace Theater, Waterbury CT – Friday, April 3rd 8PM
WPKN is a media partner with the Palace Theater in Waterbury, presenting one night only with jazz pianist and singer-songwriter Diana Krall in concert. Friday, April 3rd. Music begins at 8PM. Waterbury is the only stop on Diana Krall’s North American and European 2026 tour.

18th Annual New Haven Rock to Rock Earth Day Bike Ride – Saturday, April 25th
WPKN is a media partner in the 18th annual New Haven Rock to Rock Earth Day bike ride on Saturday, April 25th, raising funds for more than twenty local environmental groups. Rock to Rock features bike rides from 1 mile to 68 miles, with a walking loop option. The Rock to Rock Green Fair in East Rock Park will feature live music, food, and community organizations and nonprofits.

WPKN Presents- the Mountain Goats at College Street Music Hall, New Haven CT – Sunday, May 17th 8PM
WPKN Presents The Mountain Goats in concert at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, on Sunday May 17th, with doors at 7pm and the show at 8pm, in partnership with Premier Concerts and Manic Presents. The Mountain Goats, an American indie folk band, are on a world tour promoting their new album, Through This Fire Across From Peter Balkan.
