Arts, Jazz + the Blues Exhibition – MoCA\CT, Westport, CT- Thursday, runs February 26 – June 7th
WPKN is a media partner for Art, Jazz + the Blues at MoCA\CT, a collaborative exhibition with Westport Public Art Collections exploring visual and musical forms deeply rooted in African American traditions. Running February 26th through June 7th. Featuring a screening of Gordon Parks’ 1976 film, Leadbelly, on February 28th, a Curators’ Talk with Anne Boberski and Ive Covaci on March 5th, and a live performance with jazz artist Etienne Charles on March 8th.

Fairfield University’s Quick Center for the Arts presents Big River: In Concert, with music and lyrics by Roger Miller and a book by William Hauptman – Friday & Saturday April 17 & 18 at 7:30PM
Support for WPKN comes from the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University, presenting Big River: In Concert, with music and lyrics by Roger Miller and a book by William Hauptman, adapted from the novel by Mark Twain.
Performances take place Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., April 17th and 18th, 2026, at Fairfield University. This staged concert is a collaboration between the Fairfield University Glee Club, the Theatre Program, and guest professionals, based on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and set along the Mississippi River.
Directed by Sean F. Edgecomb, with musical direction by Michael A. Ciavaglia.

HomeHaven Benefit Concert -Thomas Martin will perform the Circle of Fifths: Secrets of the Music Color Wheel at the Unitarian Society of New Haven, Hamden CT – Sunday, April 19th
WPKN is a media partner for the HomeHaven benefit piano recital, where Thomas Martin will perform the Circle of Fifths: Secrets of the Music Color Wheel, on Sunday, April 19th, at the Unitarian Society of New Haven in Hamden. Thomas Martin has chosen works of Bach, Haydn, and Chopin, and will conclude with Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.”

18th Annual New Haven Rock to Rock Earth Day Bike Ride – Saturday, April 25th
WPKN is a media partner in the 18th annual New Haven Rock to Rock Earth Day bike ride on Saturday, April 25th, raising funds for more than twenty local environmental groups. Rock to Rock features bike rides from 1 mile to 68 miles, with a walking loop option. The Rock to Rock Green Fair in East Rock Park will feature live music, food, and community organizations and nonprofits.

WPKN Presents- the Mountain Goats at College Street Music Hall, New Haven CT – Sunday, May 17th 8PM
WPKN Presents The Mountain Goats in concert at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, on Sunday May 17th, with doors at 7pm and the show at 8pm, in partnership with Premier Concerts and Manic Presents. The Mountain Goats, an American indie folk band, are on a world tour promoting their new album, Through This Fire Across From Peter Balkan.

WPKN is a media partner for the Spoon and the Beths 2026 tour, making a stop at New Haven’s College Street Music Hall, Sunday June 21st, in partnership with Manic Presents and Premier Concerts. Doors at 6 show at 7. Spoon are art-rockers hailing from Austin Texas, pairing with New Zealand indie rockers The Beths.
