  • Arts, Jazz + the Blues Exhibition – MoCA\CT, Westport, CT- Thursday, runs February 26 – June 7th

    WPKN is a media partner for Art, Jazz + the Blues at MoCA\CT, a collaborative exhibition with Westport Public Art Collections exploring visual and musical forms deeply rooted in African American traditions. Running February 26th through June 7th. Featuring a screening of Gordon Parks’ 1976 film, Leadbelly, on February 28th, a Curators’ Talk with Anne Boberski and Ive Covaci on March 5th, and a live performance with jazz artist Etienne Charles on March 8th.

  • VersoFest’26 – A Celebration of Music, Media & Creativity – at The Westport Library Westport, CT- Starting February 27th through March 29th

    WPKN is a media partner for Verso Studios at The Westport Library for VersoFest 2026. VersoFest starts Friday February 27th, with various events running through Sunday March 29th. Now in its fifth year, VersoFest is an annual festival celebrating music, media, and creativity. This year’s festival includes a conversation with folk-rocker Ani DiFranco, a concert performance by Wyclef Jean, a VersoFest book talk with actress/performer Gina Gershon, and more. 2026 concerts include The Thing on Friday February 27th, Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles on Friday March 6th, and headliner Wyclef Jean concludes the celebration on Friday March 27th.

  • WPKN Presents- Del Water Gap: Chasing the Chimera World Tour, College Street Music Hall, New Haven CT – Wednesday, March 4th, 8PM

    WPKN is a media partner for the Del Water Gap concert, happening at College Street Music Hall in New Haven on Wednesday, March 4th. Touring to promote his new album, Chasing the Chimera, Del Water Gap is the indie pop project of singer, songwriter and producer, S. Holden Jaffe. 

  • The Greyboy Allstars- The Warehouse at Fairfield Theatre Company, Fairfield, CT- Thursday, March 5th 8PM

    WPKN is a media partner with The Greyboy Allstars concert, happening Thursday, March 5th, in The Warehouse at Fairfield Theatre Company. Since their 1994 debut, West Coast Boogaloo, The Greyboy Allstars have fused acid jazz, soul, funk, and hip-hop. Music begins at 8PM. Doors open at 7.

    Support for WPKN comes from Fairfield University’s Quick Center for the Arts presenting Scholar Pamela S. Nadell in conversation to discuss “Antisemitism, An American Tradition” Thursday, March 5 at 7:30 PM. Nadell plumbs antisemitism in the United States, from the mid-seventeenth century, when Jews first arrived in New Amsterdam, to today, amidst increasing anti-Jewish rhetoric and hate crimes, revealing how hatred against Jews in America has continuously threaded its history, exposing that antisemitism in the United States is not an irregularity, but a tradition.

    Saturday, March 7th from 10AM to 6pm it’s WPKN’s Music Mash 2026, at Foolproof Brewing Company at 785 Union Ave in Bridgeport. WPKN Music Mash is an annual record fair to benefit independent, freeform, community radio at WPKN Bridgeport 89.5FM. Presented by Record Riots, a collective who own and operate record shows all over the country, WPKN Music Mash features thousands of vinyl LPs, 45s, CDs, and collectibles from over 50 top specialized dealers. WPKN will have merch and retired LPs and CDs available with proceeds going directly to support the operations of the station. Live WPKN DJs, music, Foolproof beer and food round out this destination day for music aficionados in the region. Saturday, March 7th from 10AM to 6pm join us for WPKN’s Music Mash record fair at Foolproof Brewing Company.

    WPKN is a media partner for an evening performance with Drew Angus on Saturday, March 21st, at Sacred Heart University Community Theatre. Drew is a songwriter and storyteller who blends Americana, rock, and soul into his musical stylings. The show begins at 8PM.

    WPKN Presents Thievery Corporation in concert at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, on Tuesday, March 31st, with doors at 7pm and music at 8pm, in partnership with Premier Concerts and Manic Presents. Now on their North American tour, Thievery Corporation mixes international beats and vocals into their electronic music.

    WPKN Presents The Mountain Goats in concert at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, on Sunday May 17th, with doors at 7pm and the show at 8pm, in partnership with Premier Concerts and Manic Presents. The Mountain Goats, an American indie folk band, are on a world tour promoting their new album, Through This Fire Across From Peter Balkan.

Doors at 6 show at 7. Spoon are art-rockers hailing from Austin Texas, pairing with New Zealand indie rockers The Beths.
