WPKN is a media partner in The LeeVees concert at Sacred Heart University’s Community Theatre, happening Saturday, December 6. The LeeVees is a pop rock band featuring members of Guster and the Zambonis. The band will come around this season to perform its holiday songs about Hanukkah. 

WPKN is a media partner in the Flagpole Radio Cafe Holiday Show, happening Saturday, December 6th, at 7pm. Flagpole Radio Cafe is a music and comedy variety show performed in Newtown, Connecticut, at the Edmond Town Hall. This upcoming live radio-style show features singer/songwriter Patty Larkin. 

WPKN is a media partner in the Tab Benoit concert happening Friday, December 13th, in The Warehouse at Fairfield Theatre Company. Tab Benoit is an American blues guitarist, roots musician, and singer-songwriter from the bayous of Southern Louisiana. Doors at 7. Music at 8. 

WPKN is a media partner in the Built To Spill concert, happening Tuesday, December 16th, at The Warehouse, Fairfield Theatre Company. This indie rock band emerged from Boise’s alternative scene in 1992, formed by lead guitarist and singer Doug Martsch. Built To Spill is joined by the Boston-based DIY art-rockers, Guerilla Toss. Music at 7:30PM. Doors at 6:30PM. 

WPKN is a media Partner in CTGB a celebration of… at the FTC Warehouse Sunday, December 28th. With Dave Zamboni, WPKN’s own Chris Frantz and his love Tina Weymouth as a who’s who of Connecticut and regional musicians pay homage to CBGB, that’s the music of the Ramones, Blondie, Television, Patti Smith with special guest Ryan Miller of Guster and Adam Cohen from the Mommyheads. Doors at 6 Show at 7 nice and early so you can be back on the couch.

Thursday, January 15, at 7PM at the Palace Theatre in Stamford, Stamford, CT. Neko Case is an indie-rock and country-noir musician, singer-songwriter, and memoir author touring her ninth album Neon Grey Midnight Green. 

WPKN is a media partner for the Del Water Gap concert, happening at College Street Music Hall in New Haven on Monday, January 26th. Touring to promote his new album, Chasing the Chimera, Del Water Gap is the indie pop project of singer, songwriter and producer, S. Holden Jaffe. 

WPKN is a media partner for the performance of Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, happening Sunday, February 22nd at College Street Music Hall in New Haven. A former member of Drive-by Truckers, the Alabama-born singer-guitarist, Jason Isbell is bringing his Americana, folk, and southern rock sound on tour with his backing band, The 400 Unit.
