WPKN is a media partner for three evening performances by LCD Soundsystem, presented by Premier Concerts & Manic Presents, with special guest Victoryland. The trio of concerts are happening at College Street Music Hall on Thursday, September 10th; Friday, September 11th; and Saturday, September 10th.
Doors open at 7PM and music starts at 8PM. From “Losing My Edge” to “Daft Punk Is Playing at My House” and beyond, LCD Soundsystem continues to blend dancefloor grooves, post-punk energy, and electric live performances.

Midnight North is performing at Small Batch Cellars in North Haven, Connecticut, on Friday, September 18th. WPKN is a media partner with this evening of harmonies and jams from the Bay Area-rooted band. The show begins at 7:00pm.
Led by singer-songwriters Grahame Lesh and Elliott Peck, the group moves through Americana, country, soul, blues, funk, gospel, and extended improvisation. Their sound carries the influence of classic American roots music while remaining distinctly their own.

WPKN is a media partner for the Trampled By Turtles performance with Premier Concerts and Manic Presents. Hailing from Duluth, Minnesota, the six-piece acoustic ensemble brings their breakneck bluegrass and folk harmonies to College Street Music Hall on Friday, September 18th.

A Night of Conversation and Film with John Cusack + High Fidelity | Saturday, September 19 | College Street Music Hall | New Haven, CT
Our partners at Manic Presents / Premier Concerts and Best Video are screening the 2000 cult classic, High Fidelity, followed by a conversation with actor and star of the film, John Cusack. The rom-com-drama film follows record shop owner, Rob Gordon (Cusack), as he recounts his top five breakups after yet another relationship ends. The cast includes the likes of Jack Black, Iben Hjejle, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lisa Bonet, Tim Robbins, and more.
The evening of conversation and film takes place on Saturday, September 19th, at College Street Music Hall.

East Rock PorchFest | Saturday, September 19 | New Haven, CT
The East Rock PorchFest is returning to New Haven! On Saturday, September 19th, over 70 local musicians will perform on porches and stoops across the East Rock neighborhood in New Haven. Music begins at 11:00am and will fill the air until 6:30pm.

WPKN Presents: Buzzcocks | Friday, September 25 | District Music Hall, Norwalk, CT
WPKN Presents a night of punk forefathers, Buzzcocks. With the passing of Pete Shelley, Steve Diggle keeps the Manchester legends’ fires burning along with bassist Chris Remington, drummer Danny Farrant, and touring guitarist Mani Perazzoli. SoCal indie, surf rockers minds eye open its up.
The concert is on Friday, September 25, at District Music Hall in Norwalk with doors at 7PM and the show at 8PM.

Jazz’n Downtown | Saturday, October 3 | Milford, CT
WPKN is a media partner with the Milford Arts Council for the Jazz’n Downtown live music and artisan experience on Saturday, October 3rd. This all-day festival spans throughout downtown Milford and features jazz performances from local and international acts. Musical acts range from smooth to swingin’ and eclectic to electric. Jazz’n Downtown also offers an art walk by boutiques and restaurants. A closing indoor concert celebrates the music of jazz icons Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

Calling all geeks! WPKN Presents They Might Be Giants in concert on Thursday, December 31st, in partnership with Premier Concerts and Manic Presents. The science-and-satire-loving alternative rock group is performing New Year’s Eve at College Street Music Hall. Their latest album, The World is to Dig, is out now.

America 250 at Fairfield Museum and History Center, Fairfield, CT
The Fairfield Museum and History Center is commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, in partnership with dozens of cultural organizations, to present a diverse array of public programs, exhibitions, and community events throughout the year. The historic milestone is an opportunity to explore how we have evolved as a community and debate the challenges ahead in dialogue across generations.
To mark the 250th year of the Declaration, Fairfield Museum is running Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness: The Declaration at 250 from July 2nd through 19th, 2026. Other exhibitions include Fairfield in 1776: Revolution & Resilience (April 30, 2026 – January 3, 2027), Portraits of Fairfield (May 14 – September 27, 2026), and Happy Anniversary! Centenary Celebrations & Beyond (May 30 – November 8, 2026).
