Since 1963, WPKN has always been a volunteer-powered organization with 250+ members contributing to 24/7 programming, events, partnerships, and new innovations that have placed WPKN amongst the most-renowned independent radio stations in the world.

WPKN represents Connecticut and the tri-state area’s freeform radio renegades: music-obsessed, liberation-focused, alternate-perspective broadcasters who all collectively unite around the power, creativity, and immediacy of independent, non-commercial radio. Won’t you join us?
