1) Tori Cooper, Director of Community Engagement for the Human Rights Campaign’s Transgender Justice Initiative and Lindsey Clark, HRC’s Senior Regional Field Organizer, discuss the upcoming International Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31st, and the work HRC is doing to combat the GOP culture war.

2) Steph Black, a feminist, abortion activist and writer based in Washington, D.C. discusses her recent Progressive Magazine article, “The Other Front Line,” and the call for a boycott of Walgreens after the pharmacy chain agreed not to sell safe, legal abortion drugs in 21 states controlled by Republicans.

3) Will Rice, Policy Consultant with Americans for Tax Fairness, talks about his group’s response to President Biden’s plan to “extend the life of the Medicare Trust Fund by lowering out-of-pocket costs for seniors, negotiating prescription drug prices and increasing the Medicare tax rate on earned and unearned income above $400,000.”

4) Bilal Sekou, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Hartford and Chair of Common Cause of Connecticut’s Advisory Board, discusses the effort by a coalition of groups working to pass a comprehensive voting rights bill in the state this year.
