Stand Up America Founder and President Sean Eldridge discusses the organizing and preparations now being made partner group Indivisible and more than 80 advocacy groups and grassroots organizations that have joined together in Protect The Results, a coalition building a system to mobilize millions of Americans should Donald Trump contest the election results, refuse to concede after losing, or claim victory before all the votes are counted.

Jeff will share his views on this November’s Presidential Election as discussed in a recent article he co-wrote with Norman Solomon titled, “Four Years Ago, We Warned That Trump Could Win. Now We’re Warning Again.” He’ll also comment on the journalistic ethics of Bob Woodward’s decision to withhold his taped conversations with Trump, just published in his book, “Rage,” which provides direct evidence of the president’s lies re: the coronavirus pandemic that cost tens of thousands of lives.

Charlotte Dennett is a former Middle East reporter, investigative journalist, and attorney. She is the co-author of “Thy Will Be Done: The Conquest of the Amazon: Nelson Rockefeller and Evangelism in the Age of Oil.” Her newest book is titled, “The Crash of Flight 3804: A Lost Spy, a Daughter’s Quest, and the Deadly Politics of the Great Game for Oil.” She’ll examine Donald Trump’s Middle East policy over the past four years, and the recent normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

Writer’s Voice: with Francesca Rheannon

A great debate is raging on the Left between those whose first priority is defeating Trump and those who say supporting Joe Biden means selling out to corrupt corporate Democrats. Today, we bring that debate to Writer’s Voice. First, we talk with political cartoonist Ted Rall about his book, “POLITICAL SUICIDE: The Fight for the Soul of the Democratic Party.” Then, author and long-term socialist activist Max Elbaum asks “Should Anti-Capitalists Urge a Vote for Joe Biden to Defeat Donald Trump in 2020?” We talk with him about his article by that title in the second half of the show.
