Growing up, my father had a broad collection of records he would often play. His love for music was fostered in me very early in my life. Dad had a reel to reel that I learned to use and record songs from the radio that I enjoyed. That way I could play all my favorite songs from different artists in one loop for as long as I wanted.
 
This is my high school picture a few months after he passed away. The love for music that he instilled in me continued to grow throughout my life.

Along the way, I joined the WPKN listener community. From there I became a supporter, then a volunteer, and now, a fill-in programmer, creating loops again, but this time to share with WPKN’s listener community.
