Emma was born and bred in Bridgeport. Besides travel and a brief stint in the far away land of ~college~, she has lived in Bridgeport her whole life. She attended Yale University where she received a B.S. in Cognitive Science, particularly focusing on implicit bias, language, and humor. She also nerds out doing performance, such as improv and one-woman shows, as well as writing, painting, and podcasting. She’s extremely passionate about wisdom, humility, and acknowledging our interconnectedness. She has dedicated herself to fostering these traits in others, particularly today’s youth. Some of her maxims include, “Don’t sit in your poopy diaper!” and from Maya Angelou, “If you know better, do better.”
