10:00 PM, Tyler Grill of the Rhythm and Roots festival, coming up this weekend (Sept. 2-4) in Rhode Island. Along with that will be an interview with Rosie Newton, the cajun/roots fiddler and singer from the Ithaca area who’s playing at Rhythm and Roots.
10:30 PM, the interview with Grammy-nominated Diane Scanlon (a singer with Bridgeport roots in the Rick McDonald Group) and her musical partner, former Orleans member and noted producer/songwriter Michael Mugrage.
Without airing times so far, I also have two artists promoting their upcoming shows, Valerie June (at the Connecticut Folk Festival (Sept. 10-11) and Ricky Skaggs (at the Wall Street Theater in Norwalk Sept. 1).
