1) Mark Green, the first elected public advocate for New York City and author of many books including, “Losing our Democracy” and “Fake President,” is a public interest lawyer who worked with Ralph Nader from 1970-1980, eventually as director of Public Citizen’s Congress Watch. The former president of Air America Radio talks about his recent Nation magazine article, “The Democrats Have a Winning Message: “Stop Dangerous Extremists: Forty reasons the GOP is a clear and present danger to American democracy.”

2) Aaron Scherb Director of Legislative Affairs with Common Cause assesses the progress of the House Comm. investigating the January 6th insurrection — and related issues such as the ongoing investigation into Donald Trump’s attempt to interfere with the 2020 Georgia presidential election results.

3) Harvey Wasserman, author and activist for radical democracy and alternative energy for over five decades, examines the Supreme Court decision striking down Roe v. Wade federal protections for women’s reproductive rights, reflecting on the culture of indigenous women who controlled their own bodies, lives, environment, as main community decision-makers.

4) Melvin Goodman, a senior fellow at the Center for International Policy, who had a 42-year government career at the CIA and State Department, talks about his latest article, “Moscow’s War In Ukraine vs. Washington’s ‘Special Military Operation,'” explaining why it’s critically important to find a diplomatic solution to end the war in Ukraine.
