Luis Luna

Host of Módulo Lunar / The Lunar Module; a three hour monthly radio program airing every third Thursday of the month from 4 to 7pm, combining new, under the radar, innovative, unconventional and traditional fusions of music from the latin american diaspora coupled with programming on broad social justice issues.

Luis was born in Ecuador. He is a radio producer, artist and community organizer. He focuses his energy on immigrant rights issues and community radio. Over the last 15 years, he has been involved in many social movements using storytelling, oral history and organizing as tools to engage community members to create change.

He is currently working on radio projects that focus on transformative justice, abolition and Latin American film.

Luis is co-creator of Melting the ICE, a podcast that aims to deconstruct the mechanisms of our detention & carceral state by lifting up the voices of those affected.
