WPKN Celebrates Frank Zappa Fundraiser brings you a tribute to Frank Vincent Zappa, an American multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, and bandleader. Zappa’s work is characterized by nonconformity, free-form improvisation, sound experiments, musical virtuosity, and satire of American culture.

Scott has worked in radio since his college days when he served as a DJ and then manager of a small college radio station. When he came to WPKN 89.5 FM in ’73, Scott hosted a weekly blues program that through the years featured an increasing number of public affairs interview segments. In ’87, that show became Counterpoint.
