WPKN has been an essential part of my life for more than thirty years. I feel lucky to have moved to an area with such great radio after I left college. I grew up listening to freeform radio in northern Virginia, hit the airwaves at university, and found a lot of kindred souls when I became involved with WPKN.

Emma was born and bred in Bridgeport. She attended Yale University where she received a B.S. in Cognitive Science. She also nerds out doing performance, such as improv and one-woman shows, as well as writing, painting, and podcasting.

Deb Guhl is responsbile for business development and marketing support to a business providing water conservation and utility submetering to multi-family and retail owners/operators. She is also the host of Dancing Barefoot on WPKN.
Wearing shades wherever she goes, the mysterious radio personality is known only as Mystery Girl. She’s the host of radio show Shut Up & Listen. As an on-air personality, multi-media journalist, blogger, and host; Mystery Girl interviews and connects with creatives making waves in the music and entertainment industry, focusing on Connecticut and the Tri-State area.
Martha Lewis is a visual artist, curator, educator and radio presenter who has exhibited nationally and internationally. Her artistic practice focuses on drawing, Site-Specific Installation, books, knowledge, and the history of science.
Catherine Conroy hosts “The Kitchen Sink” on WPKN every 4th Thursday from 4-7pm.
WPKN is in the heart of my Hometown, Bridgeport, CT. My father has been a listener since forever and he always leaves the station playing as ambient noise throughout the house.
I have been on the air at WPKN since September 2018. I am inspired by WPKN in many ways. I am greatly impressed by the immense love all the programmers, volunteers, and staff have for the station. Because of this, our listeners can expect to hear the widest range of programming on radio today.
Colette started at WPKN in 1982 presenting “Capital Radio” and continues on programming both a Rock-N-Roll and her “Blues for Bob and You” show.
I have been on the ‘PKN airwaves thirty years (yikes!) – feels like a few lifetimes – and I also served in several positions on the station’s board of directors. What inspires me about ‘PKN is that amidst all the differences, there is a beautiful core sharing values, mutual inspiration, spirit, heart, humor and never-ending goofiness!
