This show is about music. The guiding philosophy is "mostly instrumental, mainly jazz," but that doesn't rule out any style. From jazz to jambands, raga to salsa. Some conversations with guests. I'm on every Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Eastern time. Tune in on the air or online to our live audio stream. Some Sundays, at 1:30 pm Eastern, Janet Golden comes on with Morning Mommy Update, an alternative look at parenting, family, and women's issues. |

Your host is David Golden, music enthusiast, coffee drinker, and father of three. I grew up on New York's Upper West Side, listening to radio in all its forms and determined to be on the radio myself. My first airshift on WPKN was Wednesday, July 7, 1982. If you've been with me since the beginning, thank you for sharing the journey. If you're new to all this, welcome and enjoy. I have no idea when the last airshift will be. The adventure continues one show at a time. Here's a rough history of MMM. |
